Find Emily Bazelon’s article in the NYT Magazine from May here, in which she describes the potential threat Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (and other Republicans) poses to fair elections—who now seems to stand as the only thing between an honest accounting of the vote in his state and something considerably worse than that.
The Washington Post talked to Raffensperger, who told them that Lindsey Graham asked him if he could find a way to toss out hundreds of thousands of legally-cast ballots. Graham, a Senator from an entirely different state who should not under any circumstances have made such a call in the first place, says he was misunderstood.
